2 hour documentary on the Black Panther Party for Self Defense. This chronicles all the community service and social programs the BPP implemented in various cities they were active in. The BPP started in the 1960's in Oakland, California. They were so successful, the FBI (COINTELPRO program) targeted this organization for destruction, even assassinating leaders in the movement. This video helps to explain why the BPP was such a threat and has many lessons to share with the struggles the people still endure to this day.
